The city of Port Colborne is now operating online and by phone
City officials say out of an abundance of caution heading into the holidays, staff will return to delivering services by phone, email, virtually or curb side pickup
Customer service representatives are available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. by phone or email.
As well, city hall In-person appointments will be scheduled for essential and time sensitive services
Meantime, the city of Welland is also making moves to reduce onsite staff by 50 percent
Starting January 3rd, staff whose positions allow them to work from home will do so until the end of the month.
The city says service levels will not be impacted
