Ford wants border closed to all non essential travel
Doug Ford taking the federal government to task for failing to implement tougher border measures sooner.

Ford noting right now our ICU capacity is stretched to the limits and he adds he is extremely concerned about the threat of this latest variant.
The Tory leader adding the new variants are causing devastation in India and other countries and we can't let that happen here.
Ford concludes " I'm pleading with the federal government to close the border before new variants push us into more lockdowns."
The plea comes following a report by the CBC that some Canadian travellers are circumventing the hotel quarantine requirement for those arriving by air, by flying into Buffalo and crossing into Canada via one of Niagara's border bridges.
A Toronto man, Greg Peacock, admitted to the CBC, he flew from LA to Buffalo, took a taxi to the Rainbow Bridge, walked across the span, then took another cab to the Niagara Falls train station where he boarded a Toronto bound train.
He said he would quarantine when he got home.
