About 100 protestors gathered outside West Lincoln Town Hall calling for the Pride Flag to be raised.
West Lincoln was the only Niagara municipality to not raise the flag for Pride Month.
But councillors voted in favour of raising the flag during yesterday's special meeting.
Councillor William Reilly says it will be on display for the rest of June 2020.
