Leafs to battle Sabres at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday.
Fans attending this Sunday's Heritage Classic in Hamilton will not need to show proof of vaccination.
The NHL made the announcement today, noting face coverings are still mandatory.
The game will see the Toronto Maple Leafs battle the Buffalo Sabres at Tim Hortons Field on March 13th.
The puck drops at 4:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, Ontario lifted several COVID-19 restrictions, including proof of vaccination for indoor spaces and capacity limits for large venues.
Proof of vaccination not required for the 2022 Tim Hortons NHL #HeritageClassic. The use of face coverings is still required when in any indoor location of Tim Hortons Field.
