Ontario is reporting 1616 new cases of COVID-19 and 17 deaths today.
Currently, there are 1,484 patients hospitalized with the virus, and around half are in ICUs.
Nearly three-quarters of today's new case count comes from Toronto, Peel, York Region, Durham and Hamilton.
Over 7.2 million vaccinations have been doled out in Ontario.
