Premier Doug Ford says the province is looking at returning two parcels of land that were removed from the Greenbelt
The province is considering returning two sites of the that were taken from the Greenbelt.
Premier Doug Ford says the government recently discovered the owner of the sites recently listed the properties for sale.
He adds the government wasn't informed of the owner's intentions, so the province is now considering giving the land back to the Greenbelt.
Last year, 7,400 acres of protected Greenbelt land were removed, in order to build 50,000 new homes.
That land was replaced with about 9,400 acres in another area.
