Good news on the province's vaccination rollout.
Health Minister Christine Elliott has announced that effective tomorrow at 8:00 a.m., Ontarians 50 and older can book appointments to get jabbed on the provincial booking portal.
Elliott also says that people with high-risk health conditions as well as certain essential workers who can't work from home can book shots tomorrow.
The list of workers include food and manufacturing workers, agricultural staff, child-care workers, and all employees at elementary and secondary schools.
In addition, up to 60 pharmacies in Durham, Hamilton, Ottawa, Windsor-Essex and York region's hot spot areas will provide Moderna vaccinations to people 18 and older.
The province also says starting May 7th, mobile units will begin offering vaccinations at select businesses in Toronto, York and Peel.
Elliott says the province hopes to give one dose to at least 65 percent of Ontario's adults by the end of the month.
