Over $6-million from the provincial government to be handed over to three Niagara companies to help in their expansion efforts.
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff joined Minister of Economic Development Vic Fideli at Stanpac manufacturing in Smithville yesterday.
They say the money is to support the $65-million in investments that Stanpac, AMSI in Beamsville, and St. David's Cold Storage in Niagara-on-the-Lake are making.
Stanpac will receive $3.3-million to help create a machine shop, and add 30 new jobs.
The government is contributing $2.1-million to AMSI to build a new 67,000 foot building, creating 9-new jobs, and $1.3-million to St. David's to expand and create 7-jobs.
