Review will affect Niagara
Housing Minister Paul Calandra says he's reviewing the plan to appoint regional facilitators in some areas.
The review will impact Niagara, Durham, Halton, York, Waterloo and Simcoe County.
His predecessor, Steve Clark, had previously committed to naming facilitators this week.
Just under a year ago, the province announced facilitators would be appointed to assess regional governments in relation to housing goals.
Calandra says an update will be provided by the end of the month.
We’re working hard to ensure municipalities are equipped to meet their housing targets - and we’re making sure we get this right.
