Province providing clarity on post Step Three plans
The Premier's Office has released some details about what to expect after Step Three of the re-opening process.
In a release, the province says the majority of public health measures, including capacity limits, will be lifted.
A small number of measures will remain, such as requirements for passive screening and posting of signs will remain in place.
As well, businesses will need to develop a safety plan.
You'll still need to wear face coverings at indoor public settings.
However, at a press conference today, Premier Doug Ford stated an exact date for moving forward won't be set until the province meets all of it's benchmarks for re-opening.
These include 75 percent of Ontarians being fully vaccinated, and no public health unit having less than 70 percent of the eligible population double dosed.
Yesterday, Health Minister Christine Elliott confirmed 80 percent of the eligible population had received at least one dose, which is the first benchmark the province has met.
