The province of Ontario has announced a release date for the 2021 budget.
The budget will be released on March 24th, and will focus on Ontario's vaccine distribution plan, the health care sector, and the economic well-being of workers, families and employees.
Peter Bethlenfalvy, Minister of Finance and President of the Treasury Board, says that its necessary for the province to prioritize health and jobs.
"Even though the light at the end of the tunnel shines brighter with each person that is vaccinated, we are going to take nothing for granted. This caution is necessary to save lives. And it's also necessary for our economic and fiscal recovery, because as I often say, without healthy people, you can't have a healthy economy."
The 2021 budget will include a multi-year fiscal plan.
