To be spent in part due to federal government changes
Brock University and Niagara College applauding more provincial funding.
The Ontario governmment adding another $6.4-billion in funding to schools across the province over 4-years, Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff saying he's grateful the government is investing locally at Brock and Niagara College.
The government says federal changes have significantly reduced international student revenues, but there's also more demand for higher-cost programs, and a financial aid program that's out of line.
The extra money means a 30% increase in funding, the highest level in Ontario's history, and funding 70,000 more in-demand seats.
