The message follows a similar one sent out yesterday by the DSBN
Niagara Public Health joining the DSBN in trying to dispel rumours children will be vaccinated against COVID at school without parental consent.
Public Health officials in a tweet note this is simply not true, they work closely with families to obtain informed consent.
Officials adding clinics will be offered outside of school hours, to ensure parents or legal guardians can be with the children to provide both consent and support.
Yesterday, the DSBN sent out the same message stressing the rumour of in-school vaccinations is NOT TRUE.
