Average monthly cost to rent now sits at $2,024 a month in Canada
The cost of renting a home in Canada has hit record levels.
New data from The National Rent Report shows the average monthly cost to rent a home rose to $2,024 in November.
This is 2.5 percent higher than in October.
On average, renters are paying $224 more per month than a year ago.
Experts say the trend does not show signs of slowing down soon.
