Reports Indicate Honda Coming to Niagara

More verification at news conference tomorrow in Niagara

A number of media reports indicate Honda is setting up a plant in the Niagara region.

CBC news says it'll be in Port Colborne.

We've reached out to city officials, but are getting conflicting reports.

The federal and provincial governments will be in town tomorrow for an announcement.

Honda announced last month that it was spending $15 billion to build 4 new EV plants in Ontario, including its first assembly plant and a new stand-alone EV battery plant at Honda’s existing facility in Alliston.

That expansion will create 1,000 more jobs, in addition to the 4,200 that already exist at its current assembly plant.
