One is the Mayor of Niagara Falls, while the other now the Deputy Police Chief of the Hamilton Police Service.
Mayor Jim Diodati says he is very proud of his brother Ryan, who was just recently promoted to the new position.
He started his new job on Sunday, after spending 23 years with Hamilton Police.
Mayor Diodati shared the news on his Twitter page. Deputy Chief Diodati commented on the post, thanking his brother for being an incredible mentor and inspiration.
