Niagara Health says we are in a strong position to fight a second wave of COVID-19.
That's the message from President Lynn Guerriero as infections in the Region begin to rise.
There are now two patients with the virus in our local hospitals.
The St. Catharines hospital will be the dedicated COVID-19 site for inpatient acute and critical care.
She says experts have been carefully planning for the second wave and safety enhancements are in place.
The goal is to offer quality care to patients with the virus while continuing normal operations.
