One person hospitalized after serious crash this morning
Highway 3 has been re-opened in both ways between Ridgemont Road and Centralia Avenue in Fort Erie, following a collision this morning.
OPP Constable Kevin Westhead tells us while one person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, the victim's condition has been downgraded to significant but non-life altering.
There is no word on what caused the crash, which involved a car and a pickup truck, and charges may be laid.
Westhead also notes the Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate.
