Drivers in Port Colborne may need to find another route to work soon.
Starting Thursday, the bridge over the Canadian Pacific Railway on Highway 58, south of Highway 58A/Townline Tunnel Road, will be closed to southbound traffic until the end of August.
The bridge will undergo rehabilitation, and will be limited to northbound traffic only.
Southbound traffic coming from Prince Charles Drive will be re-routed to Highway 140, and detour signs will be posted.
To help improve traffic flow for the detour route, temporary traffic lights have been installed at the intersection of Netherby and Highway 140.
The detour for the southbound traffic is highlighted in red below, and the northbound traffic is highlighted in green.
