Commercial truck hits overpass.
A heads up if you're heading to Hamilton today.
Hamilton Police say a section of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway is closed due to a collision.
A commercial truck crane hit the overpass at Upper Sherman Avenue and then a car this morning.
The truck was traveling eastbound on the parkway around 10:00 a.m. this morning, when the crane hit the overpass, causing it to rip off and hit a car.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
The road is closed eastbound between Upper Wentworth Street and Upper Gage Avenue.
Officers say the closure is expected to remain in place for the rest of the day.
The Upper Sherman Sherman Avenue overpass was also closed as a result, but re-opened earlier today.
