Niagara Health says this is due to a leaking pipe, caused by aging infrastructure, in the operating room
A leaking pipe has closed the operating room and related recovery areas of the Welland hospital.
Niagara Health says this temporary disruption at the hospital is due to aging infrastructure.
Cleaning and restoration teams are working on repairs, to return to normal operations as soon as possible.
In the meantime, Niagara Health says rescheduled procedures will be done at the Marotta Family and Niagara Falls hospitals, where possible.
