In just a few weeks, Airbnbs in Fort Erie will need a licence.
Starting January 1st, property owners will need a licence to operate a short-term rental.
The new initiative will also have enhanced by-law enforcement for things like health and safety requirements and outdoor sleeping accommodations.
Applications are now available at Town Hall and come with a $300 fee.
Staff will monitor the new program and come back to council with a report at the end of next year.
