Stilltech Corporation investing $100 million to build new plant in Fort Erie
It's being called a major economic boost for Fort Erie
Stilltech Corporation has announced it will build a new plant in Fort Erie, creating 51 jobs.
The company, which is investing $100 million in the project, manufactures specialty silicone.
This will be their third location in the province.
"Siltech is excited to be building in Fort Erie," said Dag Enhorning, President of Siltech. "We are a proud Canadian company and look forward to many years of growth in this community."
The Ford government is also investing $5 million into the project.
Construction is expected to start this summer, and the plant will open early next year.
