The man died after shots fired between himself and police at a home Saturday night
The fatal shooting of a man by police in Stoney Creek is being investigated by Ontario's Special Investigations Unit.
The SIU tells us police were called late Saturday afternoon to a house on Jones Road, to reports someone had been shot.
When police got there, they began talking with a man who had barricaded himself inside.
Shots were fired around 10pm between an officer and the man, in which the man was killed.
Police add two other bodies were found.
The Special Investigations Unit looks into what happened whenever an officer fires a gun.
