53 year old man reported to have suffered serious injury after Hamilton Police entered his home.
The province's Special Investigations Unit is investigating after a man was reportedly seriously injured during an interaction with a Hamilton Police Service Officer.
Officials say around 8:00 p.m. on March 8th, officers received a call for service at the man's home near Rymal Road East and Upper Sherman Avenue.
There was an interaction between the man and the officer, and the man is reported to have been seriously injured.
Hamilton Police Service notified the SIU of the incident on March 10th, and the SIU says there is video of the encounter.
