Sources claim the province could eventually downgrade the proof of vaccination requirement to a voluntary program for businesses.
Government sources say the province is looking at getting to a point where vaccine certificates will no longer be mandatory.
As reported by CTV News, while no timeline was given, the source says the certificate program would be voluntary for businesses.
This follows reports indicating that Premier Doug Ford is considering exiting Stage 3 of the "Roadmap to Reopen" framework.
Meanwhile, Ford is slated to hold a press conference tomorrow morning to provide an update on the vaccine certificate and verification app.
The sources also claim the Premier is working on a plan that will lift capacity requirements at businesses requiring vaccine certificates, and the plan may be released next week.
On Saturday, capacity limits were lifted for some venues in Ontario, including concert halls, sports arenas and move theatres.
