Niagara Falls is about to get a little spookier!
The Spooky Awards is adding a virtual Halloween costume contest, as well as an additional $1,000 in prizes.
The City of Niagara Falls says pets and couple costumes are welcome.
Judges will select three grand prize winners and up to 31 Honourable Mentions, with each entry scored for Halloween spirit, creativity and overall impression.
Twelve of the Honourable Mentions will be reserved for kids under 14 years old.
Prizes range in value from $25 to $100, all in support of local businesses.
Participants need to register by Sunday, October 31st at midnight.
