A 24-year-old man from St. Catharines is facing impaired driving charges, after a two vehicle crash in Niagara Falls this morning.
Police say he was heading west in a grey Chrysler Pacifica on Thorold Stone Road, when it rear ended a Ford Focus close to Beechwood Road.
Both vehicles left the road and the 61-year-old woman driving the woman was trapped in the wreckage.
Firefighters had to help her out and she was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The St. Catharines man was not hurt.
