The City of St. Catharines is implementing a grace period to help local residents and businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They will not have to worry about late fees or interest penalties for water or tax payments or for accounts receivables.
The city is also suspending all water disconnections related to non-payment.
The grace period will run until June 30th.
Legal and Clerk Services will also implement their own grace period.
This means no late fees will be charged for business licenses or for renewing dog licenses.
