It has been working on renovations and Lakeside and Sunset beaches, Lakeside park is open, and washrooms ready for May 1st.

As the city looks at Sunset Beach renovations, costing $6.9-million, with $4.4-million from the provincial government, the contractor is expected to open it sometime in May.

Some work will continue beyond re-opening, such as the playground, and finishing touches to the boat ramp.

Visitors will see general parking lot enhancements, upgrades to trails and picnic tables, and shoreline protection.
