Support Ronald McDonald House
Your chance to support sick or injured children in Niagara and beyond is today, through McHappy Day.
Anne Molnar is the Community Relations Representative with Niagara McDonalds restaurants, and says part of the sales go to Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton, but also the room at the Marotta hospital.
She adds they've come to a point in which they don't set a goal. "Every store is a little bit different, but we try to out do last year. We've had very successful years, this is the busiest day for McDonald's. Our goal is to try to one up each other."
She says 30% of people from Niagara use the Hamilton house, across the street from MacMaster University. "Oh, my friend stayed there, or my cousin. Hopefully you never have to use it yourself, because it's one of those places under the circumstances you never have to, but more people have a connection to the house than you realize."
Our two radio stations, 105 the River and 101 Morefm are on location at the stores on Garrison Road in Fort Erie, also Thorold Stone Road and Oakwood Drive in Niagara Falls.
