It'll happen again on Monday, in Fort Erie, to raise awareness of homelessness, and provide donations
Surfing Santa is back on the Niagara River in Fort Erie on Monday.
John Fulton has been doing this for 40 years, making his debut as a way to promote his windsurfing school in Port Colbourne.
But, it attracted international media attention, so he began doing it yearly to raise awareness of homelessness in Niagara.
He collects donations of socks, underwear, hats, mittens and toiletries.
This year's event begins at 11 am at Mather Arch, where donations will be accepted.
