David Hill takes home prize of $100,000 after winning with Ontario 49, he's played lottery for 40 years
A Thorold man is celebrating his first big lottery win after more than 40 years of playing.
Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says David Hill won $100,000 after matching the last six of seven Encore number in the February 10th draw with Ontario 49.
He says he's always added Encore to his tickets.
The grandfather of four plans to splurge his winnings on his grandkids, by helping with their schooling.
The winning ticket was bought at Esso on Highway 20 in Fonthill.
