Death toll now at 419
Another person has died of COVID-19 in Niagara.
Niagara Region Public Health says the death toll is now at 419, after the death of someone in the 80+ age group.
This comes as three new cases are reported in the region today.
As of this morning, Niagara Health confirms five hospital patients with the virus, and none are in the ICU.
There are 47 active cases in the region, and two active outbreaks.
Over 599,000 doses have been administered to date.
More than 69 percent of residents have one shot, and 55.9 percent are fully immunized.
