Two Niagara municipalities will discuss mandatory masks today.
St. Catharines City Council will vote on a bylaw to make them mandatory in indoor public spaces tonight after supporting the idea last Tuesday.
Niagara-on-the-Lake Town Council will also discuss the matter tonight and Lord Mayor Betty Disero is planning to hold a special meeting to pass a bylaw shortly afterwards if everyone agrees.
Niagara Falls City Council will meet tomorrow afternoon.
Regional Council debated the idea of mandatory masks Wednesday night, but it decided to defer the motion until July 23rd.
