Niagara Furniture Bank says get ready for its upcoming Sleep-a-thon fundraiser
In conjunction with Sleep Day, the Furniture Bank is announcing plans to hold a virtual Sleep-a-thon fundraiser which encourages local residents to put on their favourite pajamas, involve friends and family and raise funds for the well being of those less fortunate.
The charity will be setting up a website within the next week, where participants can learn more details and register to take part.
The Sleep-a-thon will be held on May 15th with a goal to raise $25,000 to provide beds to those in our community in need of a place to rest their head at night.
