Peel police are investigating after a toddler was left inside a locked car yesterday afternoon in the middle of a heat wave
Police were called in after a concerned citizen spotted the child inside the car in a parking lot near Derry and Dixon.
The officer on scene smashed a window to get the child out.
The toddler was taken to hospital as a precaution.
No word yet on any charges.
