Toronto and Peel To Enter Provincial COVID Framework

But will they go grey?

Today the province will announce which colour category of its COVID Framework, two of its biggest regions will be placed in, when the stay at home order they are under expires.

Both Toronto and Peel Region's Medical Officers of Health are asking the province to move them into the grey lockdown category out of an abundance of caution.

Yesterday, during a COVID update, Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health noting while cases of the coronavirus are down across the province they are seeing a rise in the number of cases involving highly contagious variants
