Fort Erie residents are being warned about a recent texting scam.
The Town of Fort Erie says that fake text messages are going around, claiming to be from the municipality.
The Town says that no municipalities are sending out texts asking people to participate in COVID-19 studies.
Anyone who receives such a text is advised to delete or ignore it.
