The Town of Pelham is celebrating Seniors Month this June with a variety of events.
On June 8th, the seniors flag will be raised at the Meridian Community Centre at 11:30 a.m.
This will be followed immediately by the unveiling of a seniors garden.
The garden, which is in the Pelham Minor Hockey Courtyard, will offer the community an outdoor location for socially-distanced visits with friends once the stay-at-home order ends.
The Town also hopes to offer outdoor programs at the garden when restrictions allow.
Seniors are also invited to participate in the Town's 30 for 30 running challenge and track their minutes for a shot at $100,000 towards local recreation activities.
More information on programs can be found here.
