Police pulled car over in Welland, finding suspected fentanyl
A 35-year old Etobicoke man is facing drug related charges after a traffic stop in Welland.
Police pulled the white 2018 Hyundai Elantra over on King Street last night at around 11, resulting in the driver getting out of his car and beginning to argue with police.
The driver could not provide ID, and was arrested when the name he gave verbally did not match an MTO search.
Police add a further search of the car turned up roughly $20,000 worth of suspected fentanyl, and, photo ID of the driver confirmed the name previously given was false.
