Police confirm body found in Port Dalhousie that of Katrina Blagdon
Police say a body found by St. Catharines Hydro workers near the Heywood Generating Station in Port Dalhousie is that of 37 year old Katrina Blagdon who went missing late last year.
The 37 year old retired military veteran, was last seen on New Year's Eve at Firehouse Subs on Fourth Avenue.
Her family says Katrina retired after a 14 year career in the military that included a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
In an interview shortly after her disappearance, her sister Kelly told reporters Katrina had struggled with PTSD, but had been actively managing it.
Police say foul play is not suspected.
