Some flyers yesterday say they missed their flight
Flying out of Pearson International Airport? Well if you are, you're being asked to pack your patience.
People waiting to board planes have been stuck in massive lines to get through security with some flyers reporting they missed their flights.
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority says staff shortages are partially to blame on top of a big increase in the number of people travelling.
As well, the agency says passengers are travelling with more carry-on bags, which means longer processing times at security check points.
Pearson officials advise getting to the airport early to make sure you have enough time to clear security and board your flight.
