Niagara's public high schools and French-language schools will be closed on Thursday.
The union representing teachers at Ontario's French-language schools is announcing weekly, province-wide strikes starting Thursday.
It's the first time since it was created in 1998, that AEFO teachers will walk off the job.
This is the last of the province's four teachers' unions to start hitting the picket lines.
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation will also walk off the job on Thursday, closing all high schools in the DSBN.
This union also represents members at MonAvenir schools in Niagara, closing them on Thursday as well.
