Police are asking witnesses to come forward
Police are investigating a collision that occurred in Welland yesterday.
Around 3:05 p.m., officers were called to a crash near Moyer Road and Biggar Road.
Police say two vehicles were involved.
Upon arrival, investigators learned one of the drivers fled on foot into an adjacent field.
Officers found the man in medical distress.
A woman driving the other vehicle sustained an injury, and both were taken to a local hospital.
There is no word on the seriousness of their conditions.
No charges have been laid, but the investigation continues.
The cause of the crash has not been determined yet.
