Public Health says the Spikevax XBB vaccine is good for anyone over 6 months
If you're looking to get the updated version of COVID-19 vaccine, you can go online at the Niagara Region starting today.
Niagara Public Health says the Spikevax XBB vaccine, from Moderna, is now available, with the region initially focusing on healthcare workers, also seniors, children, and those with underlying health conditions.
Niagara Health says this vaccine will protect better against recent COVID variants circulating in the community.
A limited number of appointments are available now to the 14th, with more added later in the month.
The health unit adds it's good for everyone over 6 months old.
