It's official - Ontarians will be heading to the polls on June 2nd.
Premier Doug Ford has confirmed Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Dowdeswell has accepted his recommendation to dissolve parliament, effective at 4 PM today.
Many politicians have been unofficially campaigning for weeks, with two major parties releasing platforms.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, Elections Ontario is advising voters to cast ballots early in order to keep polling station crowds down.
At this point, many polls suggest the Progressive Conservatives are poised for re-election, with the Liberals potentially taking over the official Opposition.
