Police unable to find driver
A crash in St. Catharines has investigators stumped.
Around 12:15 this morning, emergency crews received a report of a vehicle roll over on Welland Canal Parkway near Rockwood Avenue.
Investigators say a silver 2019 Honda Civic hatchback was abandoned after it hit a stop sign and went off the road.
The car was traveling at a high speed on a curved portion of the road.
The vehicle was destroyed.
Police and the K9 unit scoured the area, but didn't find the driver.
Detectives say the car wasn't reported stolen at the time.
