A driver has been arrested for impaired driving following a crash last night in Niagara Falls
Parks Police tweeting out the Niagara River Parkway was closed for a few hours after a single vehicle collision between Murray Hill and Clifton Hill.
Police say the driver escaped injury after striking a light standard totaling the vehicle.
The force noting impaired driving is still a leading cause of criminal deaths in Canada.
