City of Port Colborne seeking public feedback on expanding child care spaces
A certain building in Port Colborne is being considered for use as a child care centre.
The city is thinking of possibly using the former Visitors Centre, or the former Humberstone City Hall building on Main Street.
But, before that actually happens, the city is looking for public feedback in a survey about expanding the number of licensed spaces in the community.
The centre would need another 3,900 square feet of space, along with a single storey addition to the back side, for 49 childcare spaces.
The survey is online now, or you can get a paper copy at city hall, Vale Health and Wellness centre, or the library.
